Guides on finding, understanding and dealing with wasp nests.
Booking the visit and then being out, or leaving a gate locked, is the usual way a same-day treatment goes wrong. Sort out access first and the rest runs smoothly.
A nest has a daily and weekly rhythm, and checking at different times, rather than once, shows whether wasps are passing through or living nearby.
The mistake in shared buildings is assuming a nest in a communal area is somebody else’s problem; this checklist helps landlords and agents sort responsibility and access fast.
On a large commercial site, the usual mistake is to wait for a formal process while a nest grows; this checklist helps a site manager walk the boundary and act.
Carrying on as normal around the affected wall is the usual mistake; a few small changes to the household routine make the days before a visit much safer.
